UpFall Devlog: Mobile Development & Midnight Coding Marathon!


Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you a quick story behind the scenes of Upfall development. This game was not just an ordinary project, it was a technical and personal challenge that lasted for a whole week, and ended with a programming marathon in the last hours before the delivery date. Quick facts about development: Mobile-only development: The entire game was built and programmed using a mobile phone, which made the challenge double and fun at the same time. Al-Fajr Marathon: Sounds and sound effects programming started at 12 midnight, and I finished everything and uploaded the files at 9 am on the day of delivery. Neon design: It relied on the prominent neon colors to enhance the feeling of strange places, in accordance with the theme. Technical Note to Developers: Due to the lack of time and the lack of export templates, I have uploaded the full source code of the Godot engine. I invite you to download the zip file and explore the code and sounds from the engine.
